snow, ice, sun, and even salt for 5-6 years. Indoor life is almost unlimited.

How is vinyl lettering made?
Setup
Customer orders are placed online. They choose the letter height, color, and
font. Then they type in the message of their choice. Orders are then pulled up
and the design technician copy's the text from the order and inserts it into the
software. We don't retype order text, it is copied and pasted. The system is
case sensitive.

Transfer tape
Transfer tape with an adhesive backing is then laid on the weeded vinyl. A
squeegee is applied to the tape, causing it to adhere to the vinyl. The
adhesive on the back of the lettering is stronger than the adhesive on the
transfer tape so the lettering will stick to the desired surface and the over tape
will come off.

The lettering is then cut to exact size and boxed for shipping.

One of our vinyl plotters uses a small knife to precisely cut the outline of the
lettering into a roll of vinyl, but not the release liner. The knife moves side to
side and turns, while the vinyl is moved beneath the knife. The results from
the cut process is your lettering cut into the material.

The material is then 'weeded' where the excess parts of the letters and numbers
are removed from the release liner. In the example here the outside is being
removed and then the center of the 0's will be pulled out before taping.

Remove the transfer tape and your lettering is installed.
